Eric Jones views musical theatre as a vibrant canvas - every lyric, note, and character a brushstroke contributing to a story that matters. Since writing his first song for the stage in 2003, Eric has dedicated his craft to creating works that inspire connection, community, and creativity.

His original pieces have been featured at the Houston Fringe Festival, the Chicago Musical Theatre Festival, and he was the 2020 winner of the NAMT 15-Minute Musical Challenge. Despite challenges along the way - from personal setbacks to the pandemic’s pause on the arts - Eric’s passion for storytelling has only deepened.

Now a participant in the prestigious Musical Theatre Fellows program in New York City, Eric continues to grow as an artist while remaining committed to his hometown of Houston. His mission is to bring that knowledge, energy, and inspiration back to the community, empowering the next generation of storytellers, musicians, and dreamers.
