Hunter Shotokan Kempo

Martial artist Johnny Hunter began learning martial arts as a child, his first teacher being his uncle, after learning what he could from his family he was enrolled with grandmaster Percy Mungu, where he stayed until he was an adult continuing to learn under and became ranked and certified by famed late Shotokan Master Osama Ozawa, a direct student of Gichin Funahoshi who is considered the Father of Karate.

Having practiced and taught martial arts for years, Hunter Shotokan Kempo will be bringing his craft to schools and community centers across the Houston area as he has done for many years in partnership with Young Audiences of Houston.
