Fanta Ballo is a poet, performer, and creative entrepreneur whose work bridges art, education, and community empowerment. A graduate of the University at Albany with a Bachelor of Science and currently pursuing her MFA in Creative Writing at Wilkes University, she has taught, performed, and led writing workshops in more than 100 schools, inspiring students to use language as a tool for self-expression and resilience. Ballo is the founder and creative director of Ratty Reach LLC, a clothing brand and poetry book project that reinvests in artists through scholarships, and the author of the debut poetry collection For All The Things I Never Got To Say, which has been celebrated for its honesty and lyrical power. With performances spanning schools, libraries, community centers, and digital platforms, Ballo’s mission is rooted in REACH—Recognizing Every Ambitious Creative Harnesses the ability to be great—making her both a powerful voice and advocate for the future of art.
