Frame Dance

Frame Dance Productions is a Houston-based nonprofit arts organization dedicated to using dance as a tool for education, community building, and creative expression. Since its founding in 2010, the organization has served children, families, and adults through performances, arts education programs, professional development for educators, and outreach partnerships. Its core programs include the Young Dancer Program, which offers early childhood and youth dance classes emphasizing creativity, body positivity, and holistic development; Kinetic Classrooms, a movement-based curriculum and professional development series supporting emotional regulation, learning readiness, and teacher well-being; the Frame Dance Ensemble, a multigenerational modern dance company that performs in nontraditional spaces across Houston; the internationally recognized Frame x Frame Film Festival, which showcases work at the intersection of dance and film; and ongoing community engagement initiatives with partners such as the Houston Area Women’s Center and local schools, bringing movement-based healing and education to underserved communities. Frame Dance’s mission is to create and share innovative dance experiences that foster creativity, connection, and well-being. Through performance, education, and community partnerships, the organization uses movement as a powerful tool to support emotional health, build community, and inspire personal expression—believing that everyone deserves access to the transformative power of dance, whether in a studio, a classroom, or a community space.
