Leonardo Velásquez who was born in Venezuela, studied at the University of Zulia and obtained the title of Bachelor of Education, Science and Technology of Education, also pursued a postgraduate degree in Educational Psychology at the Rafael Urdaneta University.

Since he was 10 years old, he has been immersed in the world of theater and puppets, he has done different acting courses with international teachers and he has residing in Brazil, training with the teacher Augusto Boal.

His commitment to art and education motivated him to create the company Balalin Balalan Creative Activities for Children in 2001, since then his company has been offering entertaining and educational shows for the whole family throughout the Venezuelan territory collaborating with various non-profit institutions and taking the puppets to every possible corner.

He has been living in Houston, Texas for 5 years, little by little his proposal was constantly taking shape and now his company is known as Mr. Leo Puppet Show & Entertainment, he also works as a Spanish teacher at various educational institutions in the city and its surroundings.
