Sarah Gish
Sarah Gish is an igniter, intuitive guide, artist, enrichment expert, teacher, speaker, writer, marketer, business
leader, Certified Veriditas Labyrinth Facilitator, and a person in recovery from alcoholism since 1985. She is the owner of Gish Creative (www.GishCreative.com), a personal, family, and business enrichment company founded in 2000 whose goal is to ignite lives, champion culture, and create connections.
Sarah’s work can be summed up in two words: she’s a CONNECTOR and an IGNITER. She helps people connect to themselves, to others, to information out there in the world, to art, and to a higher power. It is her greatest joy to encourage everyone around the world to be the artist of their own life and to connect with each person she encounters in some way. Sarah is a super creative artist and art teacher who creates out of found materials, random art supplies, and the recesses of her mind. In 2013, she started an art project and community campaign, IGNITE YOUR LIFE! (www.IgniteYourOwnLife.com), which includes photographs, videos, workshops/talks, bracelets, t-shirts, a book and articles, playing cards, and many other components – all designed to inspire people to find their passions and purpose. She incorporates her “Twelve Ways to Ignite Your Life Daily” into many of her workshops and into her own life. She has created four art cars and currently drives her fourth, Phoenix Rising, on a daily basis. And she created art out of hubcaps about the 7 chakras and energy centers in the body called “Mod Mandalas: The Chakra Series.”
Sarah loves to help people increase their personal peace and has taught meditation and lead groups on labyrinth walks throughout the greater Houston area – most walks include art-making. Sarah does regular talks on topics such as igniting your life, Houston arts & culture, preventing and dealing with addiction, family fun, preservation (she helped save the historic River Oaks Theatre in 2007 and 2021), activism, and more. And she has a blog, GISH PICKS: CURATED CULTURE FOR KIDS & ADULTS (www.GishPicks.com), that she has been publishing since 2004.
